Abused by her father, who used her to make child pornography, and forced her into prostitution on the Minneapolis streets when she was a teenager until she ran away from home. Stark is an artist, and teaches art to abused women at a local shelter as well as an activist against child prostitution in the neighborhood where she was once sold.
